'Senna; one of those bands I listened to at great volume, that I wanted to sign and make records with, and who crushed it live at CBGBs in '98. They were glorious...but I couldn't make a commercial case for them to my label overlords. This was an act who I knew could rule if they had the time to grow and burst into the world. The absolutely right band at the wrong time in the life of any A&R person who didn't find all their acts at lunches-with-lawyers. And Johnny wore a dress. That alone was worth at least a development deal.'
